[DTRASH204] HERCKLEKOT - Żmijo

[DTRASH204] HERCKLEKOT - Żmijo
Abstrakt elektro punk band HERCKLEKOT from Bytom, Poland gives D-TRASH a new full length to start off 2018 with. Released January 19 2018 we want you to enjoy this new FREE download, the band's 3rd album (not including last years 2xEP reissue of "666/Czeci Plac). After that one we got real excited when we'd heard there would be brand new material. Though associated with D-TRASH for years, HERCKLEKOT has always been more than a 'digital hardcore' band, with their raucous sound including many other genres including punk, ska, reggae, techno, folk. Whereas this might for other bands serve as an excuse for lack of intensity, HERCKLEKOT always manage to keep it loud, drunken and manic. This time they also came packing a Sitar! Recorded throughout 2017, "Zmijo" offers up many sounds which make this the groups longest and most varied album. You can expect a pack of rowdy vocals. You will run from the punked out guitar assault! And you will hide from the toys, pots & lids that make up their intricate percussions!

[DTRASH203] ERO GURO & THE FIRST SEED - Not Quite Gods

[DTRASH203] ERO GURO & THE FIRST SEED - Not Quite Gods
ERO GURO has been known to Toronto crowds for his intense rant-core for years. Now this on this hot new release, "Not Quite Gods", he collaborates with beat master THE FIRST SEED for this compelling disc cut from the underbelly of the breakcore/digicore genres corpse. Instead of Mantras about Fighting The Power, we have a scatterbrained plate of uncomfortable ideas, social isolation and awkwardness, an unhealthy glass of cynicism complete with the pulp of mental health instability. ERO's unique vocals and ideas get under your skin for a miserable trial of electronic panic... fuelled by the ever able techniques of THE FIRST SEEDs deft and stealthy beat and soundscapes production. Originally self released, D-TRASH is happy to be able to now distribute this sucker to the world.

[DTRASH202] DK DANCE - L'orgue de Barbarie

[DTRASH202] DK DANCE - L'orgue de Barbarie
France's DK DANCE returns with another hit album with D-TRASH. Crusty boy+girl shots along with black metal guitars over top of intense drum machine beats has been some of the DK equation for years. On this disc, the throttle is pulled back a tad, opening up the sound spectrum for what could be their most melodic outing. We have always been big fans of the band and are happy to release this 5th DK DANCE D-Trash CD.

[DTRASH201] STNR - The Line

[DTRASH201] STNR - The Line
"The Line", is Icelandic artist STNR's, first for the D-Trash label and his longest release yet. Clocking in at just under 40 minutes, it features 10 tracks of cryptic vocals, hypnotizing synths, distorted breakbeats, hardcore drum programming and all-around distorted madness. Included with these tracks is a bonus track produced in 2016 under the "SPEEDHACK" moniker, called "SHIT TRAX". 6 minutes and 51 seconds of distorted beats and violent samples. A word of warning - DON'T START SHIT!

[DTRASH199] HERCKLEKOT - Czeci Plac/666

[DTRASH199] HERCKLEKOT - Czeci Plac/666
Between 2006's "Samoloty Kamikadze" and 2010's "Wci?nij Knefel" releases from HERCKLEKOT, there was 2 unbelievable EPs. "666" and "Czeci Plac" which are now re-released onto one disc. We can't ever get enough of HERCKLEKOT's jarring and frantic electropunk sounds and are pleased as punch to round out the DTRASH100's with this reissue.

[DTRASH198] THE PEDERSON-GRAVES PHILHARMONIC - Selected Overtures in A/V-Minor (new DVD release)

"Selected Overtures in A/V-Minor" is an anthology of my Audio-Visual works from 2009 - 2013. An unfiltered look at human civilisation through a bi-polar lens. In the Toronto tradition of Videomusic - it inspects the commodification of brutal sex practices, self mutilation, the empirical ambitions of both the east and west, gender privilege, celebrity culture gone awry, corporate tyranny, and entertainment at it's most indulgent. From a more simplistic point of view, some of this work could be dismissed as merely exploiting shock value. Although the subject matter can often be disturbing, I think with a degree of insight it is easily understood that through despair and humour these issues are examined from a compassionate perspective. Like any work, some of these are less successful than others. The message lost in musicality and vice-versa... but in some rare moments, I think, the right balance is struck. This is me at my worst. Misanthropic, sick, bitter, unforgiving. Obviously, there is a positive and beautiful side to humanity, but you won't find it here. - Pete OHearn (2017)

[DTRASH197] HYPERDRIVER - Noisy Distorted Bastard
If you're looking for music to help you unwind after a stress filled work day then go ahead, grab your asbestos blanket, hop into your jack hammer hammock, rest your head on your drill press pillow and let the metal stamping machines lull you into a terror filled slumber while "Noisy Distorted Bastard" has you dreaming of boots to the head.

[DTRASH196] Ri0t viRus - Resistance Is Fertile

[DTRASH196] Ri0t viRus - Resistance Is Fertile
Hailing from the Midwest, Ri0t_viRus was born to fuse the charged social and political aggression of Hardcore Punk with the mechanical dissonance and use of sampling in Industrial. Utilizing fast guitar-driven songs in tandem with shout-along vocals to create revolution music and induce rioting, Ri0t_viRus covers topics such as pharmaceutical drug addiction, social injustice, and corporate greed, focusing on real issues that plague our world today. Following in the footsteps of early Junglists and Breakcore artists, the group never comes up short when delivering a healthy dose of distorted rhythms and crushing noise. Harsh electronic sounds + pounding guitars = "Resistance Is Fertile" sends a big 'fuck you' to the Economic Elite.

[DTRASH195] HIMIKO - Skin Removal

[DTRASH195] HIMIKO - Skin Removal
We're very happy to bring you Edmonton, Canada's HIMIKO and her 5th full length release for our label. We have been very big fans of her manic sampled digi-deathcore, on "Skin Removal" she explores different territory, instead a non-linear freeform sprawl incorporating vocal shrieks and grunts, white noise, broken beats playing off avant-garde piano future jazz which references her pre-DTRASH musical focus as a classically trained pianist and composer. A truly unpredictable and experimental album of electronic unconvention, with some disturbing artwork from Pete/bossFYTE.

[DTRASH194] DISBREAKZ - Dissonant Terror

[DTRASH194] DISBREAKZ - Dissonant Terror
Our first release of 2016 is this stealthy serving of bassy dystopian breakcore/digital hardcore. DISBREAKZ is a Croatian producer who has been with team D-TRASH for a while, either releasing material on his own or heading up the SUBVERT BREAKPUNX tag-teams. A bit more darkness and less 'pop'-love shown on this, even tho his material comes with a sense of humour and fun.

[DTRASH193] NWODTLEM - Inane Asylum DVD

Watch it here in full on YouTube!

D-TRASH Records is proud to present the digital release of one of Toronto’s foremost underground electronic weirdos, nwodtleM. This collection of audio/video compositions ranges from the hyper edited and frantic, to slow and plodding, and finally to the silly and absurd. The music is painstakingly assembled using only video clips to create all the rhythms, textures, and structure. Cut for cut, frame for frame, what you see is what you hear.

The release starts off with a bang with the now classic ‘Spaceballs Cuts’ where the parody film is decimated and reassembled into a banger with a sing-a-long halftime outro. Other notable tracks are the bad movie worship in ‘Garbage In’, the jittery low tempo bleakness of ‘Dust of the Universe’, the plunderphonic immaturity of ‘Ted Fap’, and the money>values editfest of ‘Auction Block’. As a viewer you can ponder the painstaking lengths it took to create such videos, but it is more advised to crank up the volume and watch as the flickering video dances before your eyes and the sound pummels your ears to create sensory overload that is oddly digestible.
Over the years nwodtleM has gone from cassette mixing and co-running of underground breakcore label Here’s My Card Records, to releasing vinyl, cds and digital releases with the likes of Wrong Music, to performing alongside Venetian Snares, Otto Von Schirach, Dead Fader, En Esch, Merzbow, Cardopusher, Shitmat, Enduser, bossFYTE and a slew of artists in his hometown of Toronto. Never satisfied with following the beaten path, nwodtleM has cultivated a following and a style that fits uneasily between the post-breakcore landscape, the digital art world, and the Youtube cesspool.
With the final instalment of the legendary Videodrome series of events at MoCCA in Toronto just in the rearview mirror emerges the digital download, streaming, and DVD release of Inane Asylum, available now from D-TRASH Records. The art was created by Adam Gabber and a LTD edition poster has been created as well.
"Your video is awesome, I watched it like twice and heard it maybe about 5 times. Jaahahaha, it's like music though.
Love the fuckery." -Otto Von Schirach
"Through the miracles of video destruction and musical re-assemblance Nwodtlem has created a DVD that even the most jaded of nerds will find it hard to not get hard from." -Nick of Whore Church

[DTRASH192] DISTONN - I Destroy My Life EP

[DTRASH192] DISTONN - I Destroy My Life EP
Russian acidcore freak DISTONN has in the last years made a place in the D-TRASH roster for himself, either with his splits/compilations with SUBVERT PUNX members, or the legendary DISTUNDRUM, or! with his own D-TRASH sublabel BREAKPUNK but also with his DISTONN music, anarchistic vegan drum'n'breakcore styles. His "Dead Ravestar" appeared on our recent DTRASH200 "Trash The World" comp, and is a must hear.

[DTRASH189] HIMIKO - Victims Of Greed

[DTRASH189] HIMIKO - Victims Of Greed
Edmonton's HIMIKO has reached a point of no return on this her 4th release for D-Trash Records; We've got some really dark material here, something of brutal start/stop death metal-then-digital hardcore with her haunted pig-squeals that supplement the low tuned chunky sampled-core driven by the expectedly frenetic jagged gabber beats and breaks. Less of a direction change than DethNoizzz (compared to Fuck Off), and moreso a zooming in of what made the former so crushing.
